The 6th edition of the Africa Agri Forum will be taking place for the second year in a row in Libreville, from 24 to 25 October to cement Gabon’s central place as an emerging hub of agriculture in the region.
Held under the aegis of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, in charge of Gabon’s Cereals Programme and with the support of the African Union and OCP Africa, the high-level forum aims to foster and step up the momentum in the sector which is of strategic importance to the continent’s development.
- The AAF 2019 will address a number of crucial issues facing the region’s agricultural and agro-food sectors. The deliberations will be articulated around conferences on development, food security challenges, the integration of youths, the rise of Agritech, the modernization of small-scale farming and agricultural growth centers.
- Over 500 public and private actors from the agricultural sector across more than 30 countries representing ministerial delegations, international organization, doors and investors are expected to attend.
- Alongside the forum, the AAF Awards 2019 will reward groundbreaking startups that are helping to develop Africa’s agricultural sector.
We strongly believe this 6th edition will live up to the strategic and commercial ambitions of Francophone Africa and look forward to having you join us as one of our participants, partners or speakers.
