CICOS Donors Committed to Fund CICOS PAS GIRE
Following a round table, they came up with 8 commitment and positioning points
Yaoundé (Cameroon), 22 June 2011 – holding of Donors’ round-table for the funding of CICOS PAS GIRE (International Commission for Congo Basin-Oubangui Sangha). The meeting was organized by the President of CICOS Ministers Committee, in order to gather positioning and commitments from lenders concerning financial support for the implementation of the strategic action plan for water resources in the Congo Basin.

The opening ceremony was chaired by the Minister of State, the Cameroonian Minister for Transports, and the meeting was attended by representatives of regional and international organizations and CBFP Facilitation.
Following presentations on PAS GIRE projects and discussions in the form of questions and answers, commitment and positioning points were retained and available on the final communiqué.
