GCF: Invitation for Thirteenth Round of Application for Accreditation as an Observer Organization to the Green Climate Fund.

 In line with the Governing Instrument for the Green Climate Fund (the GCF) and the Rules of Procedures of the Board, the Co-Chairs in consultation with the Board, invite accredited observer organizations to the seventeenth meeting of the Board of the Green Climate Fund, to be held in July 2017.

 

 

 Following the GCF’s Governing Instrument and Rules of Procedures of the Board, which encourage accredited observer organizations to designate representatives to attend meetings of the Board, the Co-Chairs of the GCF Board invite civil society organizations (CSOs), private sector organizations (PSOs), and international entities (IEs), wishing to obtain observer status, to apply for accreditation.

 

 

 Applications for accreditation as an observer organization should be submitted by Tuesday, 9 May 2017, 18.00 KST (UTC+09.00) to the following address: observers@gcfund.org.

WWF Report-2016 : Year of astounding successes and stunning revelations

The year 2016 was one of alarming revelations and remarkable successes for WWF Cameroon. We made some significant contributions to conservation in Cameroon in particular, Congo Basin and the world as a whole. Census carried out in 2015 to re-evaluate the state of wildlife covering a total 3,376,700 ha, sho- wed that the population of gorillas and chimpanzees are relatively stable, while elephant population has decreased by up to 75% between 2006 and 2015 in some priority landscapes (TNS and TRIDOM).
