UCLA seeks a Business Case Consultant. UCLA, through its Congo Basin Institute (CBI), recently began a collaborative partnership to promote shade-grown cocoa as a conservation tool in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). During a one-year Phase I, the project will focus on developing a business case for private sector investment in sustainable cocoa production in DRC. Applications received before October 15 will be given priority.
Submission of Concept Papers
USAID's VukaNow Activity ("VukaNow"), implemented by Chemonics International, is seeking concept papers for implementation of activities designed to address poaching and illegal trade in wildlife through innovative approaches to: enhancing law enforcement capacity, enhancing judiciary systems, minimizing wildlife crimes and illegal trade, enforcing the law more effectively, and reducing the root causes and enablers of wildlife crime.
The grants will be awarded and implemented in accordance with USAID and U.S. Government regulations governing grants under contracts and VukaNow's internal grant management policies.
