WRI Democratic Republic of Congo Country Manager

Reporting to the WRI Africa Director, you will be responsible for overseeing our activities in Democratic Republic of Congo in relation to forest monitoring, forest management and legality, restoration, and land use planning. You will drive programmatic strategy in country, working closely with the Global Forest Director and the Director of the WRI Africa Regional Office. Major responsibilities will include oversight of program implementation, project management, staff management, fundraising, and thought leadership.

African Investigative Journalism Prize - Norbert Zongo (Paji ‑ NZ)

Terms of Reference and Call for Proposals for the Development of a Sustainable Financing Plan for the Conservation of the Gola Forest Landscape, Liberia and Sierra Leone

The consultant is expected to consult widely in Sierra Leone and Liberia, as well as globally, to ensure a good understanding of all the factors that affect the feasibility of different funding mechanisms. WRI - Finance Associate, Urban Water Resilience Initiative

In this role, you will work with 6 cities in Rwanda, Ethiopia, and South Africa to recommend and develop finance and funding strategies for urban water resilience projects in those geographic contexts. You will work closely with the Project Lead and city stakeholders to identify priority projects in each city and conduct the needed research to identify investment opportunities and financing strategies for 1-2 priority urban water initiatives in each city.
