Grant Coordinator, Madagascar - Antananarivo

 

Conservation International (CI) is looking for a Grants Coordinator. The Grants Coordinator will coordinate grants and contract-related administration activities for a program or division.  S/he will work closely with the Grants Manager and other senior staff. S/he will support grant-making activities including planning and application activities, contracting, day-to-day administration, reporting, and closeout.

They support grant-making activities including planning and application activities, contracting, day-to-day administration, reporting, and closeout.

 

The Grants Coordinator reviews and processes grants-related data and maintains the accuracy of grants and award information in the grants system/database. They will process routine financial transactions and help generate timely financial and related reports including comparing budgeted vs. actual expenses. The Grants Coordinator reviews grants-related activities for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with CI and grantor  policies and regulations and maintains filing systems. They serve as a key information resource and facilitates effective communications among key stakeholders. The Grants Coordinator performs other administrative duties as assigned and may assist with grants training efforts.

 

This position does not supervise staff and duties are performed under general supervision; they will be based in Toamasina.
