UCLA seeks a Business Case Consultant. UCLA, through its Congo Basin Institute (CBI), recently began a collaborative partnership to promote shade-grown cocoa as a conservation tool in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). During a one-year Phase I, the project will focus on developing a business case for private sector investment in sustainable cocoa production in DRC. Applications received before October 15 will be given priority.
TRDs for the recruitment of a Consultant-National Socio-Economic Expert to support the preparation of a GCF Project in Cameroon.
The implementation of the project will require IUCN to recruit a National Socio-Economic Expert to support the elaboration of feasibility studies and the full project proposal of the above project, notably to collect field data, support stakeholder consultation, facilitate contacts between a Consultancy Firm and other international experts.
The Socio-Economic Expert will work closely with other national consultants like the Carbon Stock Evaluation Expert, Forestry and REDD+ Expert, GIS Expert to ensure that they gather the required data in the Project sites (South-Est Humid forest, Bakossi – Bamboutos Landscape, Far North Region) in a coordinated matter.
Consultants must submit their applications to IUCN no later than Midnight Cameroon time on May 2, 2021 by e-mail to: Kenneth.firstname.lastname@example.org. The subject heading of the e-mail shall be Application National Consultant GCF Cameroon. Electronic copies are to be submitted in PDF and Ms word format.
