
Libreville, Gabon | 🗓️ July 10–11, 2025
From July 10 to 11, 2025, the city of Libreville will host a high-level conference addressing two major conservation challenges in Central Africa: environmental crime and human-wildlife conflict.
Organized as part of the Conference of the Parties to the Congo Basin Forest Partnership (CBFP), this event brings together researchers, policymakers, civil society representatives, international organizations, and local communities.
Objective: to strengthen regional efforts for the integrated and sustainable management of protected areas, while identifying concrete solutions to the growing pressures on Congo Basin ecosystems.
The agenda includes roundtables, thematic workshops, sharing of best practices, and strategic recommendations.
