Side Event R2FAC – CBFP 2025: Forest Research in Central Africa

As part of the PFBC conference on environmental crime and human-wildlife conflict, a side event will be held on July 11, 2025, from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at the Radisson Blu, Franceville room, in Libreville, Gabon.

The theme will be:
“Forest, Agroforest, Trees, Wildlife: Current Topics in Forest Research in Central Africa.”

The event aims to share recent research findings, highlight the diversity of work on forest resources in Central Africa, promote young researchers, and strengthen the links between science, policy, and civil society.

This side event will be a valuable opportunity to better understand scientific advances supporting sustainable management of forests and wildlife in the region.
