At COP30, let’s give Central Africa the global voice it deserves: support the COMIFAC Initiatives Pavilion and become a driver of change.
On the occasion of the 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), to be held from 10 to 21 November 2025 in Belém, Brazil, the Central African Forests Commission (COMIFAC), with the support of the co-facilitation of the Congo Basin Forest Partnership (CBFP) by the Republics of France and Gabon, is launching a sponsorship call for the COMIFAC Initiatives Pavilion.
This call, open from July 22 to September 22, 2025, aims to mobilize technical, financial, and institutional partners, as well as all committed stakeholders, to ensure that Central Africa's participation in COP30 is a political, technical, and diplomatic success.
Objective: Amplifying Central Africa’s presence at COP30
This pavilion, a strategic space for representation and dialogue, aims to raise the voice of Central African countries within international climate negotiations.
The sponsorship call seeks to gather contributions by September 22, 2025, to:
Secure a high-visibility space at the heart of COP30 to anchor Central Africa's presence;
Bring together all Central African countries in a common pavilion for greater coherence and impact;
Host high-level guests (honorary guests, experts, political and opinion leaders) to lead unifying discussions;
Strengthen the team of African negotiators, a cornerstone of the region’s climate ambitions.
All interested parties are invited to contribute: governments, multilateral institutions, NGOs, foundations, businesses, researchers, and engaged citizens. Every form of support is a vital building block for this initiative.
The sponsorship package includes prominent visibility in the pavilion’s communication materials, opportunities to speak or host events, as well as privileged access to bilateral meetings and key program highlights. Sponsors will also be acknowledged in official reports and post-COP communication efforts.
The success of the COMIFAC Initiatives Pavilion at COP30 depends on collective commitment. Together, let us ensure that Central Africa speaks with one strong and credible voice in international climate negotiations.
