About forty people are currently taking part in the virtual meeting of the Western Bloc of the Ndjamena Declaration on cross-border transhumance.
The aim of this meeting is to make an inventory of actions of the members and to relaunch activities of the West Block for the year 2025.
The meeting also aims to prepare the international colloquium on the implementation of existing declarations and policies on pastoral transhumance, protected areas, natural resources, peace, security and sustainable development in parts of West and Central Africa - An Action Colloquium : Time For Action.
This meeting stands in line with the recommendations of the CBFP French-Gabonese Co-Facilitation seminar to relaunch and revive activities of the geographical blocks on the Ndjamena declaration on transhumance.
The second CBFP co-facilitation seminar was held from 18 to 19 February 2025 in Libreville.
