De la concertation à l’action pour un accès universel à l’eau
On July 30, 2025, Yaoundé hosted the preparatory meeting for the 23rd Congress of the African Water and Sanitation Association (AAEA), to be held from February 9 to 13, 2026, under the theme: “Water and Sanitation for All: Strong Actions for Africa”. This consultation brought together policymakers and sector stakeholders to set priorities and secure collective mobilization.
More than just an event, the congress will be a strategic platform combining political dialogue, technical innovation, South-South cooperation, and synergy among partners. According to Dr. Blaise Moussa, President of the AAEA, “Yaoundé 2026 will embody Africa of water standing tall, bold, and determined.”
